Run for the Trees
REGISTRATION OPENS JANUARY 30, 2025!
Celebrate Missoula’s urban forests with Run Wild Missoula and Missoula Parks & Recreation at the 33rd Run for the Trees on Saturday, April 12, 2025! You have the option to run a 10K, 5K or a FREE 1-Mile, un-timed, Family Fun Run!
5K & 10K
January 30 – March 27
- FREE Ages 12 & under
- $10 – Ages 13-19
- $25 – Ages 20 & over
March 28 – April 12
- FREE Ages 12 & under
- $10 – Ages 13-19
- $30 – Ages 20 & over
1-Mile Fun Run: A FREE, untimed event. (no tree sapling or bib given for this event.)
- All ages are welcome to participate in the FREE 1-Mile Fun Run, but must register.
As outlined in the race waiver & acknowledgment, entry fees are non-refundable, non-transferrable, and non-deferrable. To view the RWM race cancellation policy, click here.
Per Run Wild Missoula event policies, dogs are not allowed to participate in the event, with the exception of ADA Service Animals.
Friday, April 11 from 3:00 – 5:45 PM at 304 N Higgins, Basement of Runner’s Edge
Saturday, April 12 from 9:00 – 9:45 AM at Race Start (Silver Park)
Packet pickup will end promptly at 9:45 AM
Start Times:
- 1-Mile Fun Run 9:30 AM
- 10K Course & 5K Course 10:00 AM
- This event will use a wave start.
Start/Finish Location: Silver Park; 700 Cregg Lane, Pavilion
Parking: Parking Map. Participants are encouraged to bike or carpool!
There is (1) aid station on the 10K course located on the UM Campus.
The courses are open to strollers and walkers. NO DOGS PLEASE.
Please note that the races will START & FINISH in the same location.
All participants will receive a tree sapling, courtesy of Trees for Missoula!
